The **Cycle and Heat Exchangers Research Group** has been conducting its activities since the establishment of the **Niroo Research Institute (NRI)** in 1997, initially under the title of **Power Plant Systems Operation** as part of the **Power Generation Research Center**. Conducting research and industrial research projects is one of the primary priorities of the group. In recent years, and in line with the Niroo Research Institute’s new missions, **foresight studies, policy research, and monitoring of technologies required by the electricity industry** in the group’s research areas have also been incorporated into the objectives of the Cycle and Heat Exchangers Research Group. Accordingly, developing **roadmaps** and preparing **supporting documents for policymakers in the electricity industry** in relevant fields are among the responsibilities assigned to this research group. Through its activities in the field of **power plant equipment**, the Cycle and Heat Exchangers Research Group maintains direct and continuous cooperation with the **Thermal Power Plants Holding Company (TPPH)**, electricity generation companies, thermal power plants, and companies active in the **manufacturing, maintenance, and optimization of power plant equipment**.
