The Chemistry and Process Research Group, leveraging the capabilities of its faculty members, researchers, experienced specialists, and well-equipped laboratories, is responsible for conducting research activities in various fields of chemistry and process engineering within the electricity and energy industries.
The group’s scope of activities includes applied research, industrial projects, consulting services, training, inspection, and laboratory services. The research team consists of specialists in chemistry and chemical engineering with diverse academic backgrounds and areas of expertise.
Among the group’s key objectives are the development of technical know-how for the production of chemicals and the implementation of optimized chemical processes in power plants; the application of chemical materials and methods to improve power plant availability and thermal efficiency; the development of monitoring systems for electricity industry equipment; the inspection of production lines for chemical products used in the electricity industry; and ultimately, reducing scientific, technical, and equipment-related dependence on foreign sources while contributing to the advancement and self-sufficiency of the domestic electricity industry.
